About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Run the press office as the dedicated PR lead and first point of contact for press and PR activity
  • Monitor and track daily press and influencer coverage
  • Produce weekly and monthly internal KPI reports with context and insight
  • Organise invoices and purchase orders
  • Monitor the PR inbox and respond to press queries
  • Lead proactive and reactive press pitching
  • Build relationships with influencers and journalists
  • Manage daily UK product send-outs
  • Act as the day-to-day contact for the PR agency and link between the agency and internal teams
  • Run agency status meetings and share coverage and opportunities with the wider business
  • Manage inventory orders for the US PR agency
  • Manage the Influencer Marketing Platform and monitor talent performance
  • Own the PR calendar and awards entries and tracking
  • Manage creative and logistics for PR mailers
  • Lead planning, organisation and logistics for PR events
  • Build PR into consumer activation, campaign and launch planning
  • Support purchase orders within agreed budgets
  • Share PR wins, articles of interest, trends and competitor insights internally

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven PR experience, either in-house or agency side, ideally within beauty, wellness or lifestyle
  • Experience working day to day with a PR agency, including briefing and following up on actions
  • Confidence working independently as the business's dedicated PR lead while collaborating with the wider Marketing team
  • Keen eye for detail and passion for beauty, health and wellbeing, with alignment to core values
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills with journalists, editors and talent
  • Proficiency in project management and event planning
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Interest in current cultural trends, media and social media channels
  • Proficient computer skills in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • High energy, willingness to learn and desire to get stuck in
  • Team-focused, can-do attitude and positive growth mindset
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced business and start-up mentality
