About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a global PCB commodity strategy aligned with NEOTech’s operational and financial objectives
  • Manage and strategically develop a global PCB supplier base across North America, Asia-Pacific, and other key regions
  • Drive dual sourcing, supplier diversification, risk mitigation, and supply continuity initiatives
  • Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop PCB suppliers for complex Build-to-Print requirements
  • Establish sourcing strategies for prototypes, quick-turn requirements, production, and high-complexity PCBs
  • Lead PCB RFI, RFQ, RFP, and competitive bidding activities
  • Analyze quotations, cost drivers, should-cost models, supplier benchmarks, and total cost of ownership
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, rebates, tooling, NRE, lead times, MOQ, capacity commitments, and commercial agreements
  • Drive annual PCB cost-reduction and productivity initiatives
  • Analyze market conditions, raw material trends, capacity constraints, tariffs, geopolitical risks, and supply-chain disruptions
  • Develop mitigation plans for long-lead-time and constrained PCB technologies
  • Serve as the PCB commodity subject matter expert for Supply Chain and cross-functional teams
  • Partner with Engineering and suppliers on DFM, stack-up optimization, material selection, manufacturability, and cost optimization
  • Support prototype, NPI, production ramp, and engineering-change activities
  • Resolve PCB quality issues and drive supplier corrective actions with Quality and Engineering
  • Own strategic supplier relationships and monitor quality, delivery, lead time, capacity, cost, responsiveness, and service
  • Conduct supplier business reviews, factory visits, capability assessments, and audits
  • Establish and monitor supplier KPIs and corrective-action plans
  • Escalate critical PCB shortages, quality issues, capacity constraints, and delivery risks
  • Develop long-term supplier capacity strategies aligned with NEOTech demand
  • Present sourcing strategies, supplier selections, cost-reduction opportunities, capacity risks, and mitigation plans to leadership
  • Support global standardization of PCB suppliers, specifications, pricing structures, commercial agreements, and payment terms
  • Identify supplier consolidation, specification optimization, cost-avoidance, and global purchasing-volume opportunities
  • Travel globally, up to 50%, for supplier visits, business reviews, factory audits, sourcing events, quality escalations, and supplier development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing, supply chain, procurement, or supplier development
  • Strong experience with custom fabricated parts or EMS-related manufacturing commodities
  • Experience leading RFQ/RFP processes, supplier negotiations, and commercial agreements
  • Strong analytical and cost-modeling skills, including TCO and market analysis
  • Knowledge of fabrication technologies, manufacturing processes, materials, lead times, and supplier capabilities
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills
  • Ability to travel globally based on business needs, up to 50%
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and supply chain analytics tools
  • Strong experience in engineering purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, material cost control, master production scheduling, and technical procurement or planning with custom or electrical components
  • U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance
  • Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
  • Preferred: experience in EMS, aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, or high-reliability manufacturing environments
  • Preferred: knowledge of supplier qualification methodologies and manufacturing quality standards
  • Preferred: experience managing global suppliers across the U.S., Mexico, and Asia
  • Preferred: understanding of supply-chain risk mitigation and dual-sourcing strategies
  • Preferred: experience supporting BTP manufacturing operations
  • APICS, CPM, CPSM, or related certifications preferred
