About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure software quality in the development of new features across software modules
- Build and expand test automation for software modules
- Define, implement, execute and maintain automated tests using Playwright and Cypress
- Continuously enhance and optimize existing test frameworks
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies
- Design, write, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases
- Perform manual cross-module integration testing
- Identify, track and report software defects
- Verify and validate defect fixes
- Drive innovation and continuously improve testing processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years work experience as a Test Automation Engineer
- Experience with automated testing and tools such as Playwright or Cypress
- Practical experience in Java
- Experience with manual testing, test strategies and test plans
- Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies
- High quality awareness and a structured, independent, and reliable way of working
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with release and change management is a plus
- Very good English skills
- German skills is a plus
