About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own a product surface end to end, from market-problem discovery through shipping and post-launch measurement
- Build and own the underlying API for product surfaces
- Shape product requirements from one-pagers and conversations rather than relying on a groomed ticket backlog
- Understand existing Salesforce or Athena workflows and determine what should migrate forward
- Build across the product ecosystem for clinicians, coordinators, operators, and families
- Collaborate directly with clinicians and users, including calls and occasional time in clinicians’ passenger seats
- Build product features with agents and determine when agents should run unattended versus when work should be written manually
- Move quickly at the edges while applying rigor to PHI, access control, and clinician-facing functionality
- Support Nest Health’s family-based, in-home, and virtual care model
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years shipping user-facing product
- Strong in TypeScript/React or Python, and competent in the other
- Has designed interfaces people use, not only built them
- Comfortable in AWS, or a clear path to it, ideally in a HIPAA-aligned environment
- Works in an agentic coding harness daily and writes clearly
- Product sense and ability to identify underlying problems behind requests
- Design practice including information hierarchy, interaction design, and prototyping
- Judgment regarding PHI, access control, and clinician-facing functionality
- Healthcare data literacy, or ability to learn concepts such as care gaps and PHI quickly
- Experience with LLM features, offline-first systems, EHR integration, or mobile is a plus
- Required to submit a link to something built, such as a product, tool, side project, or teardown
- Must be legally authorized and eligible for employment in the United States
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States
