About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support development, optimization, and formulation of products across multiple formats
- Collect, evaluate, analyze, and summarize technical data
- Execute technical tasks and activities and assist with pilot plant trials
- Serve as point of contact for NDC Bridgewater pilot plant TAG trial activities
- Support, monitor, and collaborate with the Pilot Plant team to execute trials
- Assist with low-complexity product development projects under Manager or Supervisor guidance
- Support Design of Experiment development for benchtop formulations
- Arrange sensory panels and summarize findings
- Prepare technical reports documenting findings and recommendations
- Maintain pilot plant, laboratory stability, and trial records
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including NesTMS trial protocols and analysis requests
- Support the Technical Acceptance Process and commercialization requirements
- Maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces
- Evaluate and share scientific insights, technologies, ingredients, and industry trends
- Participate in cross-functional project meetings and support project milestones
- Coordinate change control activities, Product Quote Requests, and Master Batch Record approvals
- Partner with Quality, Procurement, Nutrition, and Operations teams
- Support dispatches of ingredients and project-related shipments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific field
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting with experimental skills, including data collection, basic analysis, and preparation of written and verbal reports
- Knowledge of cGMPs, quality systems, documentation practices, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency using data analysis, reporting, and document management systems
- Basic level of sensory proficiency
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively
- Ability to adapt effectively to major changes in work tasks, work environment, structures, processes, requirements, or cultures
- Ability to identify process improvements enhancing efficiency, quality, and cost performance
- Knowledge of formulation, ingredient functionality, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to evaluate emerging technologies, scientific developments, and industry trends
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented commitment to compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement
- Travel: 20%
