About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform light building repairs and upkeep in production and administrative areas of the food manufacturing facility.
  • Repair drywall, concrete, brick, and block surfaces.
  • Install carpet, floor and ceiling tiles, bulletin boards, and other items.
  • Perform facility maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, waste disposal, and snow removal.
  • Paint interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, pipes, line painting, striping, and stenciling.
  • Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and other equipment.
  • Assist the Maintenance Department with sanitation, fire watch, and confined space entry.
  • Prepare, transport, and stage chemicals for sanitation.
  • Perform deep cleaning and other maintenance duties as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, industrial, production, military, or related environment.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
