About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide preliminary architectural, mechanical, and electrical design and drafting support for Factory Engineering
- Prepare supporting documents for capital investment proposals with factory and Group Engineering teams
- Create industrial drawings for equipment tooling, layouts, process flow sheets, P&IDs, and fabrication details
- Prepare design specifications and assemble bid packages following AIA specifications
- Execute small projects and manage small building improvement/upgrade projects with contractor supervision
- Keep factory key drawings current and properly archived
- Establish layouts and flow sheets for new products, new process lines, and line improvement projects
- Propose alternatives supporting Early Management principles
- Update and coordinate technical drawing guidelines and specifications
- Maintain engineering drawing standards in accordance with Group Engineering standards
- Organize, archive, and digitize engineering drawings and manuals
- Provide training to factory engineers and third-party contractors
- Support the Engineering Department with SAP and NIMT administration
- Travel to other Nestlé factories and vendor sites as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 4–6 years of experience in industrial design (preferred)
- High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2025
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor
- Ability to prepare architectural, mechanical, and electrical designs, including layouts, code requirements, and specifications
- Familiarity with hygiene details for food plant design
- Familiarity with multiple engineering discipline coordination, planning, and execution
- Strong drafting and documentation skills
- Work sequence-planning skills
- Good conceptual and technical problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based programs
- Willingness to travel 10–20% to Nestlé factories and vendor sites
- Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship
