About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate caser machine and printer functions
- Complete machine setup, product changes, and paperwork procedures
- Demonstrate procedures to operators in training
- Hand palletize product during palletizer downtime
- Identify potential problems to minimize efficiency loss and scrap
- Clear machine jams properly
- Monitor variances using Waste Compass and take appropriate corrective action
- Record productivity, cost, quality, and safety information on shift handoff boards
- Conduct daily shift handoff meetings to review KPIs and previous-shift results
- Model the Springville Compass in all work-related activities
- Perform other duties assigned by the Team Leader
Requirements
What you’ll need- Heavy lifting
- Basic computer data entry
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Basic proficiency of English to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- 90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestlé factory preferred
- This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
