About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the purchase of milk directly from rural producers who supply Nestlé
- Drive continuous improvements in milk quality, productivity, and supplier-base sustainability
- Manage and oversee services provided by third parties, such as transportation companies and specialized technical assistance providers
- Develop and maintain commercial relationships with direct and indirect suppliers
- Monitor the regional market, including supply, demand, and pricing trends
- Identify and develop new milk suppliers
- Mobilize producers to participate in technical events, development programs, and technical assistance groups
- Track the results of outsourced technical assistance programs and identify improvement opportunities
- Assess and promote regenerative agriculture practices on farms
- Conduct audits and technical follow-ups to ensure compliance, quality, and sustainability throughout the supply chain
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a related field
- Experience in milk procurement and negotiation preferred
- Intermediate English preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Category B driver’s license
- Commercial mindset, with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Availability for frequent travel and mobility to work in other regions
