About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment
  • Apply pneumatics, hydraulics, chain/belt drives, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, valves, seals, gaskets, fabrication, and rigging knowledge
  • Service and repair production electrical systems, motors, transformers, control devices, instrumentation, and VFDs
  • Troubleshoot basic PLC logic and work safely with low- and medium-voltage systems
  • Support ingredient handling, milk plant, packaging, storage, and retrieval systems
  • Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Create follow-up work notifications and improvement recommendations in SAP
  • Lead or support continuous improvement, PM optimization, and NCE initiatives
  • Review and recommend spare parts
  • Provide technical training to operators
  • Collaborate with plant personnel to achieve safety, quality, and cost goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment required
  • Understanding of automated equipment and component functionality
  • Proficient in industrial electrical systems, electromechanical troubleshooting, instrumentation, and fluid power
  • Ability to read and interpret control circuits and ladder logic
  • Skilled in mechanical/electrical tools and diagnostic instruments
  • Familiarity with CMMS software and production workflows; SAP preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Comfortable navigating computer systems to locate and record information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
