About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage engineering and maintenance functions for efficient, trouble-free plant operation
  • Deliver construction, capital budget, utilities, process improvement, maintenance, and support services
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate the capital budget
  • Inspect and advise on plant equipment design, evaluation, and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate steam, electrical, compressed gases, water, sewer, HVAC, process liquids, lighting, buildings, grounds, and fire protection systems
  • Manage outside contractors and ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, quality, productivity, and budgeting standards
  • Direct installation, modification, and rearrangement of equipment
  • Lead maintenance and engineering training and team development
  • Oversee maintenance of plant facilities and equipment
  • Coordinate department staffing requirements
  • Establish performance measures and administer department performance appraisals
  • Review and approve equipment purchase orders, contract service orders, and plant service agreements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 7+ years of progressive engineering experience
  • People leadership experience
  • Project management experience
  • Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
  • Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship
