About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the factory’s environmental management activities in accordance with NEMS and NBR ISO 14001
  • Plan and deliver onboarding and refresher training for employees and contractors
  • Support administrative activities related to industrial waste management
  • Manage and prepare internal documentation, including internal operating procedures, as well as external documentation involving environmental suppliers
  • Support and develop environmental projects related to water and energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and solid, liquid, and gaseous waste
  • Support awareness initiatives and campaigns
  • Support the monitoring of environmental sample collection activities
  • Work at the Caçapava Chocolate Factory, reporting to the Environment, Health and Safety Management team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently in the second year of a degree in Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Management, or Biology, with expected graduation by December 2028 or later
  • Knowledge of the requirements of NBR ISO 14001
  • Knowledge of industrial waste management
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Word
