About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage noodle or chocolate manufacturing lines with regard to electrical and automation maintenance
- Prevent unplanned downtime and ensure line availability, healthiness, efficiency and performance
- Supply and distribute electricity safely, reliably, securely and sustainably
- Provide factory engineering support for FAS, Process Control System and MES
- Define, propose and monitor electrical team plans and objectives
- Propose and implement team work processes, procedures and technical resources
- Lead and coordinate the electrical and automation team
- Manage the electrical and automation component of site M&I budgets and capital projects
- Monitor electricity according to key performance indicators
- Ensure workplace safety and communicate Safety, Health and Environment requirements
- Maintain technical integrity and performance of electrical energy supply, distribution and automation equipment
- Coordinate with the Safety Officer on safety, energy conservation, legal compliance and related matters
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Management and Engineering to resolve issues
- Supervise electrical and automation maintenance and project work
- Manage electrical and automation documents and electrical energy information
- Execute asset maintenance using Nestlé Maintenance Strategy, CDM and AMM
- Monitor plant and equipment to reduce planned and unplanned downtime
- Develop and implement maintenance and inspection plans
- Ensure new electrical and automation installations meet capital investment guidelines and support flexibility, safety and environmental objectives
- Facilitate implementation of new technologies with local, market, central technical and PTC engineering
- Drive continuous improvement in electricity supply, distribution, energy usage and waste reduction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Electrical & automation maintenance expertise for noodle or chocolate manufacturing lines
- Competence in low-, medium- and high-voltage electrical installations
- Competence in Factory Automation System (FAS), Process Control System and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Electrical & automation team leadership and coordination
- Knowledge of electricity supply and distribution
- Knowledge of safety, protection systems, procedures and training
- Ability to coordinate with Production, Quality Management and Engineering
- Ability to supervise electricians, automation technicians and contractors
- Personnel performing electrical & automation activities must be legally trained and certified
- Knowledge of Consequence Driven Maintenance (CDM)
- Knowledge of Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM)
- Ability to develop maintenance and inspection plans
- Ability to manage electrical & automation documentation, software packages and licenses
- Ability to manage budgets and capital projects
- Ability to drive continuous improvement, energy efficiency and waste reduction
