About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform sanitation and cleaning duties of facilities
Assist with feeding pets, including placing, retrieving, and cleaning food bowls
Perform limited grooming as necessary
Assist with exercise and socialization for pets
Report sick pets or unusual behavior to veterinary staff
Report broken or damaged equipment, items, or physical areas to the Manager
Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment and practice workplace safety
Perform additional duties as assigned
Work under general supervision from the Supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need

Applicants must be local to Saint Joseph, Missouri
Able to work part time, including weekends and holidays
Ability to work well independently and in a team
Good interpersonal, communication, organization, and math skills
Computer literacy
Some animal handling or grooming experience preferred, but not required
