About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform preventative maintenance and install or repair facilities and related equipment
  • Participate in a monthly after-hours call rotation to contain and correct emergency situations
  • Schedule, prioritize, and document workload; maintain equipment work records
  • Attend equipment and systems training covering ammonia refrigeration, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, network, and building management systems
  • Use equipment manuals, SDS, safety materials, drawings, PIDs, schematics, and blueprints to troubleshoot and maintain systems
  • Maintain documentation according to Nestlé standards
  • Perform office relocation teardowns and setups
  • Maintain, install, and repair office furniture, carpet, and conference room equipment
  • Set up and maintain conference rooms and assist with outside setups
  • Work under the general direction of the Facilities Maintenance Manager and collaborate with Maintenance Coordinators

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2 years of general maintenance experience
  • Experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems preferred
  • Microsoft Office: Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of Card Access (Honeywell), CCTV, and Building Management Systems (Johnson Controls, Tritium) preferred
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications/licenses
  • Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
  • Effective communication skills
  • Time management, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in hand tools and basic power tools, including electrical and pneumatic tools
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull objects weighing up to 100 lbs. and climb ladders
