About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support, lead and develop a team of engineers overseeing mechanical, electrical, industrial, environmental and safety system operations
  • Develop the strategic vision, budget and execution of plant capital projects
  • Coordinate with maintenance and production to resolve plant operational concerns
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes, safety, quality and efficiency
  • Apply expert understanding of factory operations to engage, leverage and develop engineering personnel
  • Create and strategically apply the annual capital budget for equipment maintenance and facility improvements
  • Manage cost, schedule, performance and safety for engineering staff and capital project execution
  • Coordinate with Maintenance management to develop standards, train personnel and incorporate innovations
  • Oversee external contractors for compliance with company safety, quality and deliverable standards
  • Partner with operations leaders to improve integrated manufacturing processes
  • Champion total productive maintenance (TPM) through management, problem solving and project implementation
  • Master plant and utility flows, capacities, practices and procedures to ensure energy efficiency, environmental prioritization and compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors Degree in engineering or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive engineering experience
  • Project management experience
  • People leadership experience
  • Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
