About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure compliance with Nestlé and Regulatory guidelines and specifications for production of safe pet food products
- Audit incoming materials
- Check parameters and procedures
- Complete inspections on finished products
- Isolate and detain all non-conforming pet food
- Lead corrective action planning and implementation for continuous improvement
- Perform physical and sensory tests on finished products
- Properly use and maintain lab equipment, including maintenance, cleaning, and calibration
- Collaborate with other lab associates to achieve shift, department, and factory objectives
- Assist in preparation for compliance audits
- Support the night shift on a continuous operations schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years of quality assurance in a manufacturing, production, pharmaceutical, military or related environment
