About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and deliver sales for the overall territory
  • Develop relationships with Store Managers and retail personnel
  • Deliver retail value through sales, displays, new items and core distribution
  • Provide wall-to-wall sales coverage of Nestlé items
  • Solve out-of-stock, new-item speed-to-shelf, share-of-shelf, price-compliance and promotion-selling issues
  • Sell incremental volume for displays and secure support for promoted products
  • Sell promotional surveys for displays and additional products based on observed opportunities
  • Collaborate with store-level and district-level retail operations personnel on business reviews that drive volume
  • Manage financial resources responsibly
  • Ensure compliance with retail pricing guidelines
  • Report competitive price changes and promotional support and resolve pricing issues
  • Identify and correct voids and ensure new items are available
  • Merchandise products, achieve schematic compliance, pack out shelves, rotate products and handle unsellable products
  • Maintain relationships with department/store-level personnel to maximize sales
  • Communicate retail-level market insights to management
  • Travel to client sites, meetings and field activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of retail sales, merchandising or retail management experience of CPG products preferred, not required
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication, selling and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) and other POS systems
  • Ability to analyze financial, inventory, retail conditions and/or other data
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Must reside within 50 miles of Arlington, TX / largest cluster of stores in the assigned territory
  • Ability to lift and transport promotional materials or product samples weighing up to 55 lbs
  • Ability to set up displays or move carts
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
