About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and deliver sales for the overall territory
  • Develop relationships with Store Managers and retail personnel
  • Deliver retail value through sales, displays, new items and core distribution
  • Provide wall-to-wall sales coverage of Nestlé items
  • Solve out-of-stocks, new-item speed-to-shelf, share-of-shelf, price-compliance and promotion-selling issues
  • Sell incremental volume for displays and support promoted products
  • Sell promotional surveys for displays and additional products based on observed opportunities
  • Collaborate with store-level and district-level retail operations personnel on business reviews
  • Lead expenditure of financial resources responsibly
  • Ensure compliance with retail pricing guidelines
  • Report competitive price changes and promotional support and resolve pricing issues
  • Identify and correct voids and ensure new items are available
  • Merchandise products, achieve schematic compliance, pack shelves, rotate products and handle unsellable product
  • Maintain relationships with department/store personnel to maximize sales
  • Communicate market insights to management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of retail sales, merchandising or retail management experience of CPG products preferred, not required
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License in good standing
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication, selling and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) and other POS systems
  • Ability to analyze financial, inventory, retail conditions and/or other data
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Must reside within 50 miles of New Port Richey, FL
  • May require frequent overnight travel up to 40% of the time
  • Regular long-distance driving expected
  • Ability to lift and transport materials or samples weighing up to 55 lbs
  • Ability to set up displays or move carts
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
