About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform on-site installation, service, repairs, preventive maintenance, and site surveys on beverage dispensing equipment at customer locations
  • Serve as the primary on-site technical contact
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  • Provide responsive, professional customer support
  • Instruct customers on proper equipment operation and care
  • Receive and promptly respond to dispatched service calls
  • Perform quality drink checks for ratio/brix, temperature, and taste
  • Assess repairability and recommend equipment replacement when needed
  • Train customers in equipment maintenance and report misuse
  • Follow up with accounts and update managers, supervisors, technicians, and dispatchers
  • Close out calls and accurately document service activities
  • Maintain parts and equipment inventories
  • Keep the company vehicle clean and organized and schedule routine maintenance
  • Operate and manage the company-issued vehicle, tools, and equipment
  • Receive direct-shipped parts
  • Support dispatch routing and call prioritization
  • Travel throughout the region for other projects
  • Liaise between management and sales regarding customer concerns
  • Identify and communicate customer growth opportunities
  • Complete applicable safety programs and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma and technical school certification required
  • Prior beverage, refrigeration, plumbing and electronic experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with less than 2 moving violations
  • Basic mechanical aptitude required
  • Ability to apply basic skills and techniques to perform tasks and resolve routine questions and problems
  • Basic computer and data equipment skills
  • Flexibility to work on-call shifts, weekends and varying work schedules 365 days of year required
