About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operate, clean, and inspect equipment
  • Complete effective and efficient changeovers
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance and adhere to the quality standards outlined in the HACCP plan, QMS and other quality SOPs
  • Pull product samples as required and perform quality inspections on the product and packaging
  • Perform sanitation of the equipment and area, including disassembly and assembly of equipment
  • Work with peers to make recommendations to improve operations and optimize production across safety, quality, cost, and service indicators
  • Perform daily routine safety inspections of material handling equipment
  • Execute preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment
  • Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment in production and packaging areas

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school Diploma or GED preferred
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability and willingness to operate and support a positive Nestle culture and follow established values
  • Ability to train others
  • Proactive individuals that takes responsibility for their equipment, line, coworkers, and the continuous improvement of the operation
  • Able to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability is expected
  • Detail oriented individual who accurately records information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks
