About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and compliance of site utilities
  • Ensure the plant’s energy supply and effluent treatment in accordance with regulatory and environmental requirements and Group standards
  • Lead operations and maintenance activities with a team of technicians
  • Develop employee capabilities and achieve safety, quality, performance, and cost objectives
  • Ensure the safety of internal and external work activities
  • Ensure the regulatory compliance of installations and oversee mandatory inspections and technical audits
  • Supervise, support, and develop a team of technicians
  • Manage schedules, annual performance reviews, training plans, and skills management
  • Ensure the onboarding of new employees and anticipate future needs through succession planning
  • Ensure compliance with ICPE requirements and emission limit values
  • Lead corrective actions in the event of environmental deviations
  • Ensure the application of hygiene standards, good operating practices, and the maintenance of 5S standards
  • Lead utility production and performance
  • Analyze energy and water consumption and identify improvement opportunities
  • Define and implement operations and maintenance strategies
  • Facilitate problem-solving, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement
  • Manage operating and maintenance budgets
  • Ensure data quality and the effective use of digital tools
  • Contribute to the NCE initiative by developing energy and water expertise and optimizing consumption
  • Participate in defining the site’s Energy & Water strategy and support investment projects
  • Ensure that teams develop the necessary skills when new equipment is commissioned or installations are upgraded

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (or equivalent), with technical expertise in thermal energy, water treatment, and maintenance methods
  • 10 years of experience preferred
  • Experience managing technical teams
  • Knowledge of safety and food safety requirements
  • Fluency in English is essential
