About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct routine inspections to diagnose the condition and operation of mechanical equipment based on checklists
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all equipment
- Assemble mechanical units, machines, or equipment
- Perform lubrication, calibration, and adjustments on mechanical and pneumatic equipment
- Prepare spare-parts inventories for equipment and machinery
- Monitor production tests
- Track hours and record activities in the SAP planned maintenance system, following the weekly schedule
- Perform oil changes, cleaning, and maintenance on gearboxes and transmission cases
- Prepare technical maintenance-area quotations and cost estimates
- Propose and implement improvements to process equipment and machinery in the manufacturing area
- Actively participate in the TPM process within maintenance, supporting Production
- Report to the Manufacturing Supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma
- Availability to work a 6-on/1-off schedule on the 2nd shift (2:00 p.m.–10:20 p.m.)
- Technical training in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanics
- Commitment to and responsibility for assigned activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
