About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive sales performance, protocol development, and contracting within key hospital and pharmaceutical accounts in the assigned territory
  • Develop business plans and relationships with decision makers and influencers at hospital systems, clinics, and specialty pharmacies
  • Execute focused customer engagement and sales presentations to expand the GI Pharma platform
  • Develop account models, identify decision makers and influencers, and support patient discharge and transition-of-care processes
  • Drive growth among hospital accounts, GI/Critical Care targets, and new accounts while meeting sales and profit objectives
  • Educate healthcare providers on the benefits of Vowst
  • Develop and assess hospital account protocols and execute compliant, persuasive account management and selling processes
  • Develop and communicate scientific knowledge of GI disorders and competitive products
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key accounts and GI key opinion leaders
  • Develop and implement territory-specific business plans
  • Convey complex clinical and reimbursement information to key stakeholders
  • Execute customer-centric, needs-based selling with healthcare providers and accounts
  • Use sales reporting systems for call preparation, activity tracking, and market intelligence
  • Organize meetings and deliver GI and nutrition content to healthcare professionals
  • Conduct promotional programs and attend local, regional, and national meetings
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to connect with hospital personnel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6-7+ years of Pharma Sales experience with demonstrated success of selling Specialty Medical products into Hospitals (Medical Device, Infectious Disease, Rare Disease or GI) required
  • Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
  • Current or prior strategic account planning experience
  • Strong business acumen, financial skills, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of value-based selling
  • Experience with negotiating, clinical influence, and account penetration/call planning required
  • Ability to work through change management and be agile
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets and be data-driven
  • Willing and able to travel 50% to 70%
  • Advanced degree in Nursing, Dietetics, MBA, or Pharm.D. highly preferred
  • Current or prior experience with Power BI, Salesforce, Circana, and/or other data systems preferred
