About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and execution of key account strategies across the Australian aged care sector.
- Drive growth across strategic aged care accounts.
- Build trusted customer partnerships and deliver nutrition solutions that improve resident outcomes.
- Manage relationships with major aged care providers.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee commercial agreements and develop existing Health Care portfolio contracts.
- Develop, implement, and maintain customer plans for key customers.
- Lead and develop long-term care channel development strategies aligned with corporate planning.
- Formulate action plans in response to market, customer, and consumer dynamics.
- Support category, channel, and field sales plans with internal stakeholders.
- Manage positive relationships with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders.
- Execute plans and achieve specified sales targets and market share objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A tertiary qualification in Business, Science, Dietetics, Nursing, Marketing, or related discipline is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in an Account Management role, ideally within Hospital, aged care, medical or pharmaceutical industries.
- Confident communication and ability to adapt communication style with varying stakeholders.
- Proven track record of exceeding targets and developing relationships with key customer groups.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Ability to travel interstate approximately once a month.
- Outgoing, approachable, and passionate about sales.
