About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain all plant systems, including facilities, unloading, processing, packing, and warehouse operations
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Support machine reliability and process improvements across the plant
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical control systems, motors, and PLCs
- Use diagnostic equipment including volt/ohm meter, wiggie, ammeter, and megger
- Install sensors
- Install, fine-tune, and maintain switch gear, control wiring, components, and motor protection systems
- Service and maintain plant electrical and electronic equipment, including operator interfaces, process controllers, and power supplies
- Operate safely using appropriate PPE in MCC rooms
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of electrician experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a 2-year technical degree
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends
- Troubleshooting electrical control systems, including motors and PLCs
- Ability to use volt/ohm meter, wiggie, ammeter, and megger
- Proper usage of PPE equipment while operating in MCC rooms
- Installation of sensors
- Ability to install, fine-tune, and maintain switch gear, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motors, including three-phase systems
- Ability to service and maintain plant electrical and electronic equipment, including operator interfaces, process controllers, and power supplies
