About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist Production Operators with mechanical maintenance of equipment
- Perform maintenance inspections, repairs, and overhauls
- Complete work orders
- Attend to operational issues and equipment failures
- Report on production downtime
- Perform root cause analysis of mechanical downtime
- Collaborate with colleagues through handover meetings and problem-solving sessions

Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant trade qualifications: Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
- Developed technical aptitude
- Strong mechanical fault-finding ability on high-speed machinery
- Physical capability for manual handling
- Focus on continuous improvement and structured problem solving
- Self-motivated with ability to work with minimum supervision
- Comprehensive numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and deliver repeatable accurate results
- Reliable team player with flexibility to adapt at short notice
- Eligibility to work in Australia and Australian permanent residency
- Willingness to perform shift work
- Desirable: leadership and team management experience
- Desirable: welding and light fabrication experience
- Desirable: Confined Space licence
- Desirable: Forklift Licence
- Desirable: safe working at height experience/licence
