About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maximize equipment reliability and plant performance through maintenance planning and scheduling
- Manage the SAP maintenance system from equipment establishment through cost reporting
- Manage the preventative maintenance system and Planning and Scheduling KSR, including editing and creating PMs
- Gather information to plan maintenance tasks and coordinate equipment downtime with production
- Prioritize and escalate critical work as needed
- Incorporate predictive maintenance routines into the Planning and Scheduling KSR and AMM system
- Coordinate outside contractor support for facility maintenance
- Publish the weekly maintenance schedule
- Perform master data entry and FLOC creation within AMM
- Monitor work order completion, backlog, and schedule compliance
- Drive assigned continuous improvement projects with operations and engineering
- Coordinate with Production, Technical Stores, and Maintenance teams
- Provide guidance to Electro-Mechanical Technicians and proactively identify and escalate operational issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience
- 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing, Maintenance, & Engineering environment required
- Strong understanding of mechanical processes, equipment, and electrical systems
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Familiarity with Maintenance Improvement methodologies
- Prior experience working with site/Corporate Engineers
- Detail-oriented and accurate record keeping
- Experience as a Maintenance Planner preferred
- Exposure to maintenance planning techniques and maintenance execution preferred
- Experience coordinating and planning maintenance activities considering SHE and food safety constraints
- Food Industry experience preferred
- Experience with CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, MP2, or MLS
- 3 years’ experience working as a mechanic or in a hands-on capacity is a plus
- Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship
