About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage, lead, and coordinate team activities to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and uphold safety and operating standards
  • Coach, train, and develop team members
  • Maintain daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance, and repair work
  • Lead continuous improvement and/or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives
  • Coordinate equipment installation and maintenance efficiently
  • Schedule maintenance projects with production and engineering departments
  • Ensure maintenance staff are trained in safety procedures and Total Quality Maintenance
  • Provide guidance and coaching, employee scheduling, evaluation, and development
  • Confer with the Maintenance Manager on quality assurance standards
  • Recommend efficient maintenance department strategies, projects, and budget modifications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, military or related environment
  • 1+ years of people leadership experience
  • Willingness to work an overnight shift on a 2/2/3 schedule
  • Position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
