Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage preventative and predictive maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of manufacturing equipment and machinery
  • Handle electrical, mechanical, and automation maintenance projects
  • Assist in daily plant maintenance operations in a proper, timely, and safe manner
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation plant systems
  • Operate, maintain, and install shop equipment
  • Repair pneumatics, gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment
  • Use multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators
  • Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on starters, PLCs, start/stop stations, motors, and other general plant electrical equipment
  • Use electrical diagrams and/or circuits during troubleshooting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR completed 2-year associate/technical degree
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and install shop equipment
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment
  • Ability to use multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators
  • Experience troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on starters, PLCs, start/stop stations, and motors
  • Working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits
  • Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship
