About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the optimal functionality and safety of manufacturing equipment and machinery
  • Apply basic electrical and electronic principles in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of plant systems
  • Troubleshoot and maintain plant electrical and electronic equipment, including operator interfaces, PLCs, process controllers, and power supplies
  • Make minor repairs to fans, blowers, conveyors, belts, mechanical conveyors, and screw conveyors
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, and program VFDs and PLC systems
  • Install and maintain switchgears, control wiring and components, and over-current and overload protection for plant motors, including three-phase systems
  • Read, update, and build electrical schematics and documentation
  • Participate in projects involving electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and welding systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military or related environment; OR High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and 1+ years of maintenance experience in such an environment
  • Must be available to work all shifts
  • Maintenance experience with electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and welding systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain operator interfaces, PLCs, process controllers, power supplies, VFDs, switchgears, control wiring, motors, and related plant equipment
  • Ability to read, update, and build electrical schematics and documentation
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
