About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage preventative and predictive maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Handle electrical, mechanical, and automation maintenance projects
- Troubleshoot and repair plant systems
- Repair gear reducers, conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment
- Use multimeters, megohmmeters, process simulators, and other test equipment
- Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plant electrical equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems
- Ability to repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment
- Experience using multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment, starters, PLCs, start/stop stations, and motors up to 480V
- Understanding of measurement and testing devices and mechanical systems
- Working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits
- Intermediate understanding of PLCs and ability to access programs for troubleshooting
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship
