About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support definition, alignment, and implementation of the Local Leadership Team performance improvement plan and strategy
- Co-develop improvement strategies considering the Factory Operational Master Plan, loss analysis, and external benchmarks
- Gain LLT and key stakeholder alignment and support rollout across the Production Department
- Develop improvement plans covering TPM rollout, digital and CAPEX enablers, cost savings, improvement projects, competency building, and external support
- Establish governance and routines to track execution progress and sustainability
- Spend time on the shop floor to evaluate maturity and identify improvement opportunities
- Provide guidance and feedback to LLT and align corrective actions
- Develop critical competencies within the Local Leadership Team through GEMBA visits
- Partner with HR and Training to establish and evaluate LLT capability plans
- Train and coach LLT and shop-floor owners on system health and competencies, including Cleaning/Inspection, Centerline, and Changeover
- Evaluate key-system maturity and guide improvement discussions
- Participate in the FI Pillar, supporting competence building and health of FI systems and routines
- Lead FI pillar and Industrial Performance activities, including labor utilization studies, data reliability, SAP BOM/Master Data, Planning Rate Reviews, DMO, Tagging/Prometheus, St 21-908, and Capacity Utilization
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience considered in lieu of a degree
- 1-3 years of experience in Manufacturing
- 1-3 years working with Factory Management & Leadership teams, supporting and developing cross-functional teams
- 1-3 years with an active role in implementing Goal Alignment/TPM/Lean
- Understanding of cultural change management, process improvement, and business connections
- Experience with line labor standards, budget preparation/review, and line capability/speed studies
- 1-3 years developing improvement projects and loss analysis, with strong experience leading/applying problem-solving tools
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across shop floor, LLT, and factory leadership levels
- Strong coaching and influencing skills to build capability and drive behavioral change
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret manufacturing losses, performance trends, and operational data
- Digital skills and exposure to digital systems; Microsoft Office experience, with SAP, DMO, Prometheus, POKA, and Power BI exposure or willingness to learn
- Knowledge of Goal Alignment/TPM/Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple improvement initiatives, prioritize work, and drive execution through cross-functional teams
