About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act proactively and preventively in Occupational Health and Safety management, with a strong field presence
  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and support the implementation of effective controls
  • Monitor operational areas, critical activities, contractors, and service providers
  • Conduct and support risk assessments, safety inspections, and control definition
  • Support the implementation of legal Occupational Health and Safety requirements and the ISO 45001 management system
  • Participate in investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses, defining and monitoring corrective and preventive actions
  • Monitor Occupational Health and Safety performance indicators
  • Deliver training sessions, onboarding orientations, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns
  • Support the management of legal and technical programs and documentation
  • Support processes related to applicable Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), including machinery, electrical installations, equipment, chemicals, hazardous work, and emergencies
  • Support the management and inspection of fire prevention and firefighting equipment
  • Support the formation, training, and activities of the Internal Accident Prevention Commission (CIPA) and Emergency Response Brigade
  • Monitor action plans through completion and effectiveness verification
  • Participate in projects, process modifications, and the implementation of new equipment to identify and reduce risks
  • Work within the SHE Pillar to harmonize TPM with the Integrated Management System (IMS)
