About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Request, compare, and evaluate quotations based on technical specifications
- Conduct price and contract negotiations with suppliers
- Create and process purchase orders in SAP
- Monitor delivery dates and ensure materials are available on time
- Manage the commercial aspects of the entire procurement process
- Review and process order confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices
- Maintain supplier and material master data in the SAP system
- Support supplier evaluations and supplier development initiatives
- Handle complaints and discrepancies in cooperation with the relevant departments
- Coordinate and collaborate with Engineering, Production, Project Management, and Finance
- Contribute to the optimization of procurement processes and sourcing strategies in coordination with Central Procurement
- Ensure compliance with internal requirements, quality standards, and compliance policies
- Manage the operational and administrative procurement of technical products and services for Nestlé Suisse S.A.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training (technical or commercial) or several years of experience in a similar position
- Good knowledge of SAP preferred
- Technical background or strong technical aptitude preferred
- Proactive, highly organized professional with a strong service-oriented mindset
- Strong supplier negotiation skills
- Very good command of German
- French and English are an advantage
