About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the End-to-End Project Manager and/or Project Engineering Manager throughout the project lifecycle
  • Deliver successful vertical startup according to Project Success Criteria
  • Develop and lead the Commission, Qualification and Verification (CQV) process
  • Lead the OSL workstream with indirect reports across Operations/Production, Maintenance, SHE, QA, HR/Training, ME, Supply Planning, and S&D
  • Participate in Project Leadership
  • Ensure safe, on-time startup of new equipment and processes
  • Deliver results within established capital and PRO budgets
  • Coordinate functional workstreams and follow up on tasks and deliverables
  • Communicate regularly with the Steering Committee and Factory Leadership Team
  • Forecast commissioning and startup budgets
  • Deliver agreed Project Success, safety, and quality criteria
  • Report to the Production Manager and dotted-line to the Engineering Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Operational experience leading teams
  • High proficiency communicating with front line associates, senior leaders, and external partners
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with cross-functional groups
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Teams
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and problem-solving/root cause analysis tools
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Experience in operations at a local site or similar
  • Successful experience leading teams
  • Experience contributing to a capital project
  • Ability to work across different shifts for startup, commissioning, and qualification
  • Willingness and ability to travel to other Nestlé sites and/or vendor locations
  • Must not require visa sponsorship
