About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work as a team member with mechanics to operate Packaging Line 20 safely and productively
  • Maintain quality checks, production reports, inventory documentation, and other required paperwork
  • Perform quality checks in accordance with the Nestlé QMS
  • Maintain housekeeping, food safety sanitation, and good manufacturing practices
  • Support continuous improvement and standard creation
  • Minimize waste, including reworking material when applicable
  • Complete inventory transactions, consumptions, and reversals
  • Supply machine centers with packaging and raw materials
  • Inspect materials and verify correct materials and raw ingredients meet CCP requirements
  • Reject damaged or deficient materials
  • Operate, adjust, and control packaging equipment
  • Modify running conditions to maintain performance standards
  • Report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately
  • Support energy conservation, solid waste minimization, pollution prevention, and environmental improvement
  • Communicate with operators, mechanics, and management
  • Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures
  • Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis
  • Willing and able to work overtime
  • Willing and able to work various shifts
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must comply with plant safety rules, regulations, and environmental policies
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
