About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete a full-time 6-month immersive experience in a GMP testing environment
  • Deliver results for Nestlé USA through key projects, systems, and people
  • Work cross-functionally and demonstrate initiative
  • Recommend organizational actions focused on cost savings or operational efficiencies
  • Complete a value-added project within the program timeframe
  • Perform quality, process improvement, and troubleshooting projects using basic problem-solving or statistical analysis
  • Standardize work processes to improve operations and support training of new technicians
  • Support the introduction of new technologies and processes
  • Conduct hands-on testing of equipment, facilities, and utilities according to predefined test protocols
  • Optimize computerized systems and business tools for quality and efficiency
  • Participate in equipment failure investigations, metrology initiatives, engineering documentation tasks, and safety initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • Completion of the required Bachelor’s degree by December 2027 or June 2028
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical skills for data tracking and results analysis
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
  • Demonstrated learning agility
  • Ability to deliver results on challenging assignments
  • Comfortable working with people in various capacities within a laboratory setting
  • Ability to participate in the program January 2027 – June 2027
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
