About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up and operate the heat seal machine
- Change and load film
- Monitor sealing temperatures, air pressure, and sealing times
- Check for proper sealing and record findings every 15 minutes
- Monitor transfer points before and after heat seal to prevent product loss
- Operate the Protein Detector machine and document product rejects
- Load pictorials into Kliklok and clear jams
- Restart the line when it is down
- Ensure the line is set at the proper line speed
- Assist the checkweigher with reworks
- Model the Springville Compass in all work-related activities
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Team Leader
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to perform bending, pushing, and pulling
- Basic computer data entry is required
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- 90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestlé factory preferred
- Basic proficiency in English
- Ability to read basic/standard English words and sentences to understand signs, policies, procedures, and safety rules
- Ability to speak and understand basic/standard English words and sentences to obtain and relay information on policies and procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship and collaborate as a team
- This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
