About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Inspect machines for proper assembly, safety guard placement, cleanliness, foreign objects, worn or damaged parts, and loose bolts or nuts before each shift
Set up the machine to ensure product readiness at line start-up
Operate the Net Weigh Filler throughout the shift and troubleshoot as necessary
Keep the machine adequately loaded with product
Ensure the product being run is Code 10
Calculate yield and notify the Team Leader of unfavorable reports
Model the Springville Compass in work-related activities
Perform other duties assigned by the Team Leader

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
Ability to go up and down stairs frequently
Basic computer data entry proficiency
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Basic proficiency in English to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies, and procedures
High School Diploma/GED preferred
90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestlé factory preferred
Not eligible for visa sponsorship
