About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow plant safety rules, including LOTO procedures and PPE requirements
- Report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately
- Follow factory safety and environmental objectives and targets
- Follow factory food safety and quality objectives and targets
- Follow Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices
- Report food safety and quality issues immediately
- Maintain compliance with regulations and the Nestlé Quality Management System
- Understand and apply food safety and quality procedures, on-the-job training, and standard operating procedures
- Apply continuous-improvement principles in the work area
- Maintain a clean and 5S-compliant work area
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school degree or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience
- Consistently reliable attendance
- Willingness to work a 2-2-3 schedule and variable shifts
- At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to multitask
- Computer skills acquired through work experience
- Improvement mindset
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Good oral and written communication skills
- This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
