About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operate various lines of equipment in production
  • Package products
  • Move raw materials or finished packaged goods with a forklift or pallet jack
  • Provide relief for absences or vacations
  • Supply production lines and meat prep stations with adequate supplies
  • Measure, weigh, blend and add materials to manual or automated systems
  • Adjust equipment speeds and temperatures as needed
  • Pull samples and perform quality tests
  • Assist on quality trials or deliver test samples to Quality Assurance
  • Visually inspect ingredients and substandard pallets or cans and remove foreign materials
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
  • Safely operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment
  • Use prescribed lockout procedures
  • Support factory continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma and/or GED
  • 1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing, agriculture, warehouse, military, or related environment required
  • Must be willing to work an overnight shift
  • Must meet all Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental standards
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
