About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate first-line management functions for production planning, production output, equipment maintenance, people management, quality, safety, and sanitation
  • Directly supervise hourly production employees
  • Mentor, coach, and manage employee performance and development
  • Manage processing or packaging schedules to maximize output and minimize costs
  • Participate in problem solving and drive continuous improvement efforts across the plant
  • Ensure products comply with quality checkpoints and Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Reduce unplanned stops, speed loss, and waste while optimizing planned downtime performance
  • Coordinate maintenance, engineering, and QA activities to increase operating efficiencies
  • Lead and coach integrated work groups according to the factory’s continuous improvement plan
  • Provide a safe working environment for employees

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment
  • 1+ years’ leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment preferred
  • Availability for all shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays, as required for business needs
  • Position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
