About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the assigned shift and maximize productivity and efficiency while minimizing costs
  • Maintain excellent quality standards, employee safety, and sanitation levels
  • Directly supervise hourly production employees
  • Manage processing or packaging schedules to maximize output and minimize costs
  • Participate in problem solving and drive continuous improvement efforts across the plant
  • Lead and coach integrated work groups based on the factory’s continuous improvement plan
  • Coordinate with engineering and maintenance on repairs and modifications
  • Ensure products comply with quality checkpoints and Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Provide a safe working environment for employees

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment
  • 1+ years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment
  • Must be open to working overtime and weekends as needed
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
