About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage allocated feasibility study, concept, design, procurement, execution, reporting and monitoring elements of factory projects
  • Ensure compliance with technical, safety, quality, business and financial engineering requirements, including purchasing
  • Perform preliminary project analysis and design covering buildings, utilities, services, equipment and layouts
  • Investigate, evaluate and report on alternative methods and develop justifications
  • Manage fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning, qualification verification, handover and contractor activities
  • Update and create site technical drawings and documentation
  • Ensure process and equipment safety for people, products and the environment
  • Apply change management to modifications in the manufacturing facility
  • Ensure application of Nestlé and international standards
  • Select, qualify and coordinate contractors
  • Analyse manufacturing processes, conduct root-cause investigations, and develop and implement machinery improvements
  • Lead TPM methodology, advanced problem solving and machinery reliability improvements
  • Work with Maintenance and Operating teams on sustainable equipment reliability solutions
  • Lead technical competence building among Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams
  • Report to the E2E Manager and work on capital investment solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Tertiary study in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years Mechanical Engineering experience, preferably in FMCG industry
  • Experience with engineering software and manual drawing and skills, including AutoCAD and MSP
  • Experience in personnel supervision of technical teams, contractors or other third parties
  • Self-management following defined KPIs/Objectives and proactively tracking them
  • Exposure to TPM, Preventive Maintenance planning and/or maintenance execution
  • Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality
