About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assure products meet company standards and quality and food safety regulations
- Promote compliance with internal and external Nestlé requirements within NCE Foundations
- Establish, maintain, and improve factory Compliance Routines
- Lead the Factory Compliance Network and develop competency in compliance systems, tools, and methodologies
- Coordinate implementation of Compliance Network Management Routines
- Review practices and drive improvements
- Support the Factory Compliance Network Capability Building plan
- Coordinate the factory Compliance Routine and internal and external audit calendar
- Serve as Lead Auditor for one factory management system: ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, or FSSC/ISO 22000
- Oversee and manage the factory Internal Audit Team
- Schedule, organize, and support external audits
- Communicate audit results to FLT and functional teams
- Report compliance results regularly
- Implement, maintain, improve, and verify effectiveness of compliance systems
- Manage audit, non-conformance, policies and standards, change, management review, document control, record control, and process management systems
- Train the factory, Internal Auditors, process owners, and SMEs on compliance obligations and methodologies
- Assess auditor and program performance
- Promote compliance culture and incorporate network best practices
- Provide frontline operational support, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Identify and close procedure and process gaps
- Communicate issues to peers, cross-functional teams, and upper management
- Review and update factory policies and SOPs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for factory metrics
- Execute technical documentation, procedural development, and training
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or other related field, preferred
- Internal Auditor Certification to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 or FSSC/ISO 22000
- Experience with process-based auditing systems such as ISO
- Compliance management experience in Quality, SH&E, HR, Finance, or another function
- NCE Goal Alignment experience in a factory or head office
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Access, and Outlook
- Flexibility to occasionally work off shift to support compliance activities
- Flexibility for travel to support factories and participate in Network activities (<10%)
