About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive new business acquisition across the full culinary and beverage portfolio within the territory
  • Align sales proposals and product solutions to targeted operators’ operational needs
  • Meet or exceed sales performance objectives and territory metrics
  • Maintain timely and accurate updates in Salesforce
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Monitor customer developments, competitive activity, operational changes, financial shifts, and organizational updates
  • Translate strategic direction and category plans into actionable operator-level plans
  • Collaborate with field sales, marketing, distribution, commercial development, and equipment/technical service teams
  • Lead product priorities, new product introductions, and seasonal limited-time offers
  • Negotiate and execute contracts and initiatives to win new operator business
  • Assess and recommend annual operator trade spend; administer Exceedra contracts
  • Guide distributors on regional sales opportunities and product stocking
  • Serve as a key resource to distributors headquartered within the territory
  • Manage the full sales pipeline, identify gaps, evaluate opportunities, and implement corrective action plans
  • Develop and implement annual business plans aligned with business and customer strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years in direct outside sales, B2B or business development experience
  • 6+ years’ experience in market planning, foodservice, hospitality, and/or beverage
  • 5+ years negotiating complex agreements
  • Astute financial awareness, including P&L responsibility
  • Experience creating profitable customer bids and business plans
  • Ability to articulate business results with deep knowledge of the role’s impact on the business
  • Deep industry knowledge of Business & Industry, College & University, Healthcare, Lodging, Military, Travel, Restaurant, Retail and Grocery segments
  • Must be based in Las Vegas, Nevada or Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Must be able to travel 40–60% within Idaho, Utah, Nevada, and Hawaii
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
