About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the Boutique Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure adherence to retail operations procedures and best practices
  • Implement safety protocols and manage cash operations
  • Oversee stock and inventory management, maintain accurate inventory levels, process shipments, and handle damaged or defective products
  • Troubleshoot technological issues, manage IT support tickets, and oversee the racking system and equipment
  • Maintain, teach, and train employees on the coffee roaster, engraver, and tasting bar
  • Manage customer-order fulfillment, including same-day delivery and online in-store pickups
  • Identify and implement operational improvements using Total Quality Management principles
  • Conduct health, safety, and environmental audits, inspections, and maintenance checks
  • Promote a safety-conscious culture and ensure employees are certified in Food Safety and CPR according to local regulations
  • Guide, support, and coach the back-of-house team of 2
  • Serve as Manager on Duty for front-of-house operations and assist on the sales floor as needed
  • Assist the leadership team with projects and tasks as business needs arise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years’ experience in retail or customer service industry related profession
  • Experience in operations or back of house preferred
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and influence people; leadership experience preferred
  • Process and detail oriented with a systematic approach to work
  • Analytical problem solver capable of identifying inefficiencies and creating solutions
  • Availability to work open and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to travel up to 10% for required meetings or training
  • 1+ years previous experience in an Operations Lead or Manager role preferred
  • Experience directly supervising a team of 2+ employees preferred
  • Ability to work on the sales floor on weekends and as needed during the week
  • Prior experience successfully streamlining operational and organizational processes preferred
  • Highly tech savvy with MS Office, Adobe, and AI tools preferred
  • Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship
