About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop 4P Purina portfolio recommendations to drive growth within the assigned business unit
  • Provide business overview and analysis to customer teams on progress against market and Joint Business Planning objectives
  • Assess competitive market activity and provide analytics on risks and opportunities for the Purina portfolio
  • Partner with Finance to deliver promotional recommendations maximizing market impact
  • Provide data and recommendations on 4P strategy for new distribution, including shelf recommendations, promotion strategy, and pricing
  • Provide insights and analytics supporting Joint Business Planning development objectives and initiatives
  • Attend monthly retail team meetings and provide business updates, opportunities, promotional/product mix improvements, and key quarter priorities
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and communication for retail initiatives
  • Utilize data for storytelling to influence and drive action

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of experience working with retail/sales data or within a CPG environment, OR high school diploma plus 4 years of experience in category development, sales or marketing analytics
  • Must be able to travel up to 15% or as business needs require
  • Previous experience working with large retailers such as Costco, Kroger, Target, or Walmart preferred
  • Previous experience with Nielsen/IRI/Power BI, or RSI syndicated data preferred
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
