About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure timely booking of outbound international freight in accordance with affiliate delivery demands, corporate sales targets, and product supply availability
  • Work cross-functionally with corporate supply chain and intermarket members, lead accounting, third-party carriers, Nestlé Purina distribution centers, production plants, and customer distribution centers
  • Manage shipment exceptions and troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct financial procedures and operating metrics, including detention management, automation objectives, and expedite decisions
  • Monitor carrier load-tender status and shipments for on-time pickup, transit, and delivery
  • Notify appropriate groups of ocean transportation issues and work with Intermarket to resolve them
  • Ensure appointment schedules based on ocean carrier booking confirmations
  • Manage returns with the Accounting Lead and QA

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of freight forwarding experience, OR High School diploma with 5+ years of freight forwarding experience
  • Submit AES (automatic export system) filing with CBP
  • Prepare necessary documents and complete customs clearance procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
